kahit saan ang :)

siguro masasabi kong nakatali na ang mga kamay ko sa SKIRTING :)) simula bata pa lang ako, ginagawa ko na un eh. i made my first ever table skirting when i was a 4th grader only. haha. masaya ang mga oras na un para saken.








ilan lang to sa mga ipinanalo ko sa school competition. parating nasa top 2 ako parati sa mga competition. may isang beses na di na kami pinasali kasi maxado daw kaming accelerated. ang ginawa na lang namin ay isang exhibition table na lang.








ilang beses na din akong naging Physical Arrangement Head. siyempre, expect nila na may mga skirting skirting na naman. i applied to some catering franchise owners but most of them didn't hired me. but i know to myslef that i have the capacity. some hired me as an  on-call food server and the one who sets up the venue. they are the people who trusts in my load. and i am happy.






i am also happy because i inspire other students about my stories before i had an expertise in skirting. some may say "sana kapatid na lang kita", "sana ikaw na lang nagtuturo saken" at "sana nakilala kita matagal na". ayan. natat-touch naman ako. but then again, if i have free time, i had to spare time for me to teach them table skirting.

 so long. i'll have to earn more photos. haha. always remember, BE FABULOUS!

First Taste of Victory

This is our first entry of Table Skirting with Centerpiece. Way back February 2009. We are just greenhorns on our course of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Actually, we planned everything the day before the scheduled date of competition. Me and my teammates were so haggard and so disgusted having a very tremendous BRAINSTORMING. We planned the design, what flowers to be used, the THEME and the cloth colors. After a very hard brainstorming, we landed to an EGYPTIAN theme.

The story behind that theme is when the organizers have to let us borrow some skirting cloths, we were late to have one and what was left is a color BLACK skirting cloth. Besides I have my own GOLD skirting cloth, we combined the two colors, and that's why we come up to that theme. Our only aim is to be one step higher to the other team where we have a conflict of before. But then, so much from we aim, we got the FIRST PLACE!! We were so happy then. The SKIRTING TEAM, as we were fondly called has 8 members including me. And the other members were Anna Madel Punzalan, Jennifer Ramos, Felipe Hernandez Jr., Aiko Aleli Vasquez, Iris Joan Laconsay, Bernadette Kristina Garcia and Rachelle Anne Santos.

After we got that place, we were inspired to do such kind of things. Our dean use to request us to do skirtings to the main campus and to some other places :)
